Our energy storage technology is based on patented SkeletonC material which is uniquely produced and optimized in-house.
Skeleton’s ultracapacitors have two times the power density of the second best product in the market (compared to Maxwell, NESSCAP, IOXUS and others) with over 30 kW/kg and 45 kW/l while maintaining 1,5 times higher energy density, over 8 Wh/kg and 12 Wh/l. Our constant R&D work enables us to be on the final frontier of ultracapacitor energy storage solutions.
The company was founded in 2009 to commercialize 14 years of extensive multi-million dollar in-house R&D in the fields of carbide-derived carbon materials and ultracapacitors for energy storage solutions of tomorrow.
We form strategic partnerships with our key customers to provide an application with a significant competitive advantage. Our technology enables us to be flexible in providing just the right parameters for the specific application, we can vary the performance of the individual cells to a large extent. Our firm view is that you have to provide a constant competitive edge not only on paper, but in the field of every specific application.
Skeleton Technologies is based in Estonia (E.U.) with R&D facilites and pilot production in Tartu, Estonia.
